The hopper car is intended for transportation of grain and other bulk cargoes requiring protection from atmospheric precipitation on 1520 mm railway network with loading through upper hatches and gravitational unloading through botoom hatches between rails with special loading and unloading devices. Brakes - automatic pneumatic whit separate bogie braking, manual parking. Running gear - two 2-axle bogies mod. 18-7055 type 2 (under GOST 9246-2013 / DSTU 7530-2014) or other interchangeable models of bogies type 2 (under GOST 92-46-2013 / DSTU 7530-2014) (mod. 19-7016), two 2-axle bogies mod. 18-7020 type 2 (under GOST 9246-2013 / DSTU 7530-2014) equipped with permanent contact side-bearers and cassette-type bearing units with adapter (model 19-7016-01)/ Automatic coupler CA-3. The draft friction gear of increased power consumption of class T1.
