The hopper cars are intended for transportation of grain and other bulk cargoes, requiring protection from atmospheric precipitation on 1520 mm railway network, with loading though upper hatches and gravitational unloading though bottom hatches between rails on special unloading equipment. The freight cars are manufactured with different unloading devices (gates of lever hatches). Brakes - automatic pneumatic whit separate bogie breaking, manual parking.
