Double–axle bogie mod.68-7041 with pneumatic suspension
Two-axle bogie is intended for passenger coaches operating on 1520 mm railways within Ukraine, the CIS and Baltic countries, with speed up to 160 km/h.
The bogie is designed in conformity with norms and operating conditions for the rolling stock of the CIS railways and operational requirements for upper structure of railway lines. Method of the bogie connection with the coach body is analogous to the bogie mod.68-7007/7012 manufactured by the JSC “Kryukovsky Railway Car Building Works”. The bogie is equipped with:
axle box suspension (4 sets of coiled double springs and 4 vertical hydraulic shock absorbers);
central suspension (2 pneumatic springs with two vertical shock absorbers and one horizontal shock absorber);
side vibration suppressing mechanism;
bogie main beam (of dumping type);
axle box temperature mode registration mechanism.
